Fun with Thanksgiving Vocabulary
While the food is cooking and the grown ups are telling their stories, the kids can stay occupied by playing a game of Bingo with Thanksgiving vocabulary. This is GREAT for all ages!
If the adults are playing along, incorporate some trivia questions for some vocabulary words (i.e. Why is America important during Thanksgiving?). Making a list of questions that go along with the Bingo game allows kids to understand "why" and "how" the vocabulary fits with "Thanksgiving". They will find it very interesting!
Use candy corn as markers to eat after the game is over!
