"Sounds" Good to Me! A Speech Sound Development Chart and Finding Help through ChildFind.

What sounds are normal at what age? Here is a chart that tells you when a child normally develops certain sounds. If a three year old child is unintelligible to you and strangers have a difficult time understanding what he/she is trying to say, then it is important to seek for help! You should reach out to your school district and to a speech-language pathologist for a complete screening and complete evaluation if needed.

Spartanburg District 2 has monthly Child Find Screenings that reach families with children who may need special services. If there appears to be a delay in any area of your child's development, you should seek assistance through Child Find starting at the age of three. All screenings and evaluations are free of charge.
